Gallop - Traditional Handcrafted Hobby Horses

Hobby horses have been around for centuries. In fact, in the mid 16th century a very famous rhyme was based around this children’s toy classic. A simple stick, something for the head and the imagination takes over.

Gallop Hobby Horses are carefully handmade using colourful, contrasting fabrics. A woollen mane, hand-sewn ribbon bridle with bells, realistic eyes & studded neck upon dowel are all completed with wooden wheels for ease of the ride.

Each horse is unique and made to order, so if you have any changes, one-off hobby horses can be made on request. Production of a horse takes approximately 1-2 weeks.

Size Guide
Each horse is approximately 1050mm high, the head measuring approximately 250mm wide and 300mm high. They are most suitable for children aged 2 and over, but can be used by any child who can walk with confidence. Smaller or larger horses can be made on request.

Ornamentation
Any horse is also a wonderful way to decorate a bedroom until the rider is ready to use it or purely to add a special touch to the room.
