After a wee bit of a break, I’ve returned refreshed to prod the Felt blog back into action. I hope you had a relaxing Christmas and a fabulous start to 2011! Any crafty New Year’s resolutions made? Did you receive any fabulous handmade gifts for Christmas?
Over the next few weeks we’re putting the finishing touches on Felt’s new year makeover and doing all the last minute tweaks and tests before revealing it to the world, so it’s a pretty exciting time here at Felt HQ. If you’d like to help us out with testing and get a sneak peek at what we’ve been up to, apply as a volunteer! It’s just a small time commitment of several hours between 17 and 24 January. Applications close at 5pm this Friday 7 January.
Last but not least, if you’re in Hawke’s Bay for the summer and getting craft withdrawal symptoms (twitchy fingers?), make sure you check out the Summer Silver Retreat in Haumoana on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 January – a great opportunity to learn how to create silver jewellery using precious metal clay.
